Travel Grants
National – limited number of travel grants will be made available for young researchers working in the field of movement disorders, to facilitate their attendance for this meeting. For applying for the travel grant the delegates should be less than 40 years of age, should be an Indian citizen, and should have an accepted abstract for the conference. The travel bursaries would include a complimentary registration, a travel grant of Rs 2000/= (Rupees two thousand only) and budget accommodation for the delegates. The delegates should apply separately to the conference secretariat for the travel grants. The delegates should furnish their proof of age, the proof of submission/acceptance of their abstract, along with their brief curriculum vitae (mentioning clearly the educational qualifications, the research projects they are involved with, the awards and medals accredited to them, and a list of their research publications). The applications for travel grants, duly forwarded by the departmental heads/employers of the delegate should reach the conference secretariat at or before 1700 hrs on 31st December 2008 failing which the applications will not be considered. Please note that no application will be entertained before the online abstract submission begins and the decision of the organizing committee for the travel grants would be final and binding on all.
 
International – Applications are invited from young researchers working on movement disorders for limited number of international travel bursaries available for the delegates from the underprivileged countries to facilitate their attendance to this meeting. The travel bursaries shall involve a complimentary registration of the delegate, budget hotel accommodation, and a travel grant of USD 500 each. The delegates, who apply for this bursary should be working in the field of movement disorders, should be less than 40 yrs of age and should have submitted an abstract for the conference. The bursary will only be considered for delegates whose papers have been accepted for presentation in the conference. The delegates should apply separately for the travel bursaries for the conference. Their application should be accompanied by the photograph of the delegates, the copy of their passport, the affiliation certificate from their institute, their brief curriculum vitae (mentioning clearly the research area they are involved in, their education qualifications, their awards/medals, and a list of their research publications). The applications have to be duly forwarded by the departmental heads/employers of the delegates and should reach the conference secretariat latest by 1700 hrs of 31st December 2008, failing which their application will not be considered for the bursaries. Please note that the applications for the travel bursaries will only be considered after the online abstract submission begins and the decision of the organizing committee shall be final for the allotment of the travel bursaries.
